1 1/2" March on Washington November 15, 1969. Widely considered the largest protest in US history, the Moratorium to End the War in Vietnam attracted over a half-million protestors to Washington D.C. Demonstrators gathered on the National Mall to listen to speeches from Dr. Spock, Pete Seeger and musical performances including Peter, Paul, and Mary.
