Lurleen Wallace Palm Card

2 1/4" x 3 1/2" Keep a Good Administration, Vote (Lurleen) Wallace, Stand Up for Alabama. By 1966, popular Alabama Governor, George Wallace was term limited with his eyes set on the presidency in 1968. He encouraged his wife Lurleen run and serve for Governor as his proxy. Wallace made no secrets of his plan, prominently appearing on the vast majority of his wife's campaign memorabilia. Voters knew a vote for Lurleen was a vote for George. She handily won the race. This palm card is from that 1966 election and in near mint condition.
